At the start of the new millennium, Martin Lenclos imagined METV, a new media network concept, with short format video programs open to participation by all. It was devised to illustrate the creation of a new strand of US television and give an overview by means of short clips. METV is a television channel that focuses on participation at all levels of society and promotes free expression.
We organized events, happenings, installations and a marketing campaign with fly-posting and street interviews. The project took place in the building of Cooper Union School of Art in NY, where ML was an exchange student between 1999 and 2000.
